Appearance of the plant:
- The Ficus Lyrata, also known as the Fiddle-leaf Fig, has large, glossy leaves that have a unique, violin-like shape. The leaves are dark green and can reach a considerable size, giving the plant a dramatic appearance. This plant can grow up to 2 meters tall and has a sturdy, upright stem.
- The Ficus Lyrata thrives best in bright, indirect light. Place the plant in a spot where it receives sufficient light, but avoid direct sunlight to prevent damage to the leaves. This plant is ideal for indoors and can also be placed outdoors in a warm, sheltered location.
- The Ficus Lyrata has average water requirements. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out before watering again. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot, especially in winter when the plant needs less water.
