- The Ficus Lyrata, also known as the fiddle-leaf fig, impresses with large, glossy leaves with a characteristic, violin-like shape. The dark green leaves reach considerable sizes and give the plant a dramatic appearance. With a height of up to 2 meters and a strong, upright trunk, it is a real eye-catcher.
- The Ficus Lyrata thrives best in a spot with bright, indirect light. Choose a location with sufficient brightness, but avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn. The plant is ideal for indoors and can also be placed outdoors in a warm, sheltered spot.
- The Ficus Lyrata has an average water requirement. Let the top layer of the potting soil dry out before watering again. Ensure good drainage in the pot to avoid waterlogging and root rot – especially in winter, when the plant needs less water.
