Appearance of the plant: The Calathea Makoyana, also known as the Peacock Plant, has large, oval leaves with a striking pattern. The top of the leaves is light green with dark green spots, while the underside has a deep red coloration. The leaves can grow up to 45 cm tall, and the pot has a diameter of 17 cm.
Location: The Calathea Makoyana thrives best in a location with indirect light, preferably in partial shade. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves. This plant is ideal for indoor use.
Water requirements: This plant prefers moist soil. Make sure the soil always remains slightly damp, but avoid letting the roots stand in water. Water about twice a week, depending on the humidity in your home.
