Red Barrenwort Epimedium rubrum Set of 12 Robust Groundcover

Epimedium rubrum, also known as Red Barrenwort or Red Epimedium, is a remarkable addition to any garden. This perennial stands out with its elegance and resilience. Especially in spring, it displays its full splendor when delicate, pink-red flowers appear above the fresh foliage. A special feature is the reddish edge of the leaves, which provides beautiful splashes of color when they emerge. This barrenwort is excellently suited as a ground cover for semi-shaded or shaded locations. It thrives particularly well under trees and shrubs, forming dense, attractive carpets over time. Thanks to its low maintenance requirements, it is ideal for both experienced gardeners and beginners. A significant advantage of Epimedium rubrum is its good drought tolerance once it is well established. This makes it a reliable choice for dry shade areas, which are often difficult to plant. The plant consistently provides structure and subtle color in the bed. As these are living products, natural variations may occur upon delivery. Our perennials grow strong and long-lasting. We deliver the plants in environmentally friendly, recyclable growing pots directly from our nursery to your home. The combination of delicate blooms and decorative foliage makes this barrenwort an indispensable element in garden planning. It effectively suppresses weeds and requires little attention. Cutting back the old leaves in late winter promotes fresh growth and highlights the new blooms even better. Trust in the quality of our nursery and beautify your shady garden areas with this twelve-piece set of Red Barrenwort. The plants reach a height of about ten to twenty-five centimeters and are winter hardy.
